Theme Days and Events
We have an open door policy for parents and we encourage their involvement in our theme days and events.
As well as calendar based celebrations such as Christmas parties, Easter bonnet parades, mother’s day teas and father’s day picnics we also celebrate events from around the world.
Chinese New Year has us making lanterns, dragons and sampling Chinese food
St Patricks Day is a green day.
St Georges Day see us sampling good old English food.
4th July is for dressing up as cowboys/cowgirls.
Diwali has us sampling Asian food
We also have a teddy bear picnic, sports days, Christmas parties and fun days that parents are invited to attend.
We encourage our children to develop our activities, for example a child brought in a kite for us to play with and this led us to develop a topic “up in the air” in which the children chose the various themes.
